Ten Reasons Why Shadowera Is One Of The Top Card games

Welcome Welcome!! Are you planning to try a Trading Card Game?? been a veteran of Magic The Gathering Era?? Yu-Gi-Oh? Duel Masters?? Well I think I got you a nice suggestion, Shadowera.
Currently the game is one of the best in the class, not the best but among the bests. I started playing playing like almost 3 years ago and from then it has grown alot. The game actually started 4 years back by Wulven Studios. The game has some similarities with Hex and Magic but stands out in some aspects. So lets start 10 reasons why you should play Shadowera than other card game?
1.Card Art : The card art has definitely one of the best card arts in the field. No one can beat shadowera in this case. You are bound to fall in love with the card arts!! Even the cards with crappy powers have a proper well detailed card art. One Word : Eye Candy!!

2. Dynamic Gameplay : You will be able to play matches with AI very fast. Even player vs player matches are fast. I am not saying you do no need to think much in it but the minimum animation during casting cards and all makes it faster than hearthstone and other.

3.Sacrficing : This element is one of the soul reasons this game is way ahead of others. You are given option to sacrifice a card from your hand to increase your resources [umm... or mana whatever you want to call it] and if you don't your resources will not increase. Additionally you can keep sacrificing [if you have enough cards to do so] and get your resource level to as much as you can unlike Hearthstone where both the players automatically gain resources each turn. This element of sacrificing the card decides the fate of your game.

4.Variety of Game Play Style : Currently there are two major divisions : Humans and Shadow. Each in both division there are several type of classes such as Warriors , Hunters , Mages , Priests , Rouge, Wulven [for thosewho are obsessed with wulverine and werewolf stuff] , Elementals. AND its not finished yet, each class has several Heroes in them with distinct super powers. So depending on division, class and hero you will be able to play in countless styles and it will not get boring playing against same type of decks.

5.Shadow Energy : The game has two type of resources actually. One is the normal resources which you gain mainly by sacrificing your cards, another one is Shadow Energy which will allow your Hero to activate your superpower. You gain shadow energy each time your turn comes and each hero has different amount of shadow energy required to activate the power. Each hero as I have said has different power which are only activate dby shadoe energy and trust me this adds complexity in game because you have to keep an eye on that shadow energy also.

6.Fairness In Who Goes First : Here the player who gets to play second in a match is compensated with Extra starting card [ first player starts with 5 cards and other with 6] and the second player gets a free shadow energy at the very start. So it is more compensating than Hearthstone I believe.

7.The Community : The shadow era community is one of the best player based community where players [ specially top players] share there decks, there detailed explanation to cards, decks and many other things which are enough to open a shadowera strategy wikia page. Not only gaming they are one of the most funny  people I met and they are very helpful. No matter if nobody is answering your texts, you will get someone from the community online and trolling people is allowed. Even the game creator Kyle is trolled often. And you can join guilds of players where you will have players with whom you can discuss your deck more openly and try your newly made decks.

8.Tournaments : So you are no rookie? have confidence? fine just keep checking on the forums there are frequent 16 player / 32 player short best of 3 tournaments as well as special tournaments where you can judge your metal and earn crystals and gold to buy better cards and increase your strength. They even hold World Championships!!!

9.Importance given to player opinions : The game developers are very cordial and they check what user community thinks of the game changes and users opinion counts. It really counts. There has been many times when players pointed out some overpowered cards and dev team changed the card. And you will be amazed how hard they try to maintain the balance in game. No matter what hero you are playing they provide as much as possible balance so that all heroes have equal strength and it only depends on the skill of player and for the victory.

10.The multiplayer : After you have done some practice and have 40 cards in your deck you can join the multiplayer mode where you will be facing someone with equal skill. You will have ranks from 500 to 0. 500 is grand master deck and 0 is the the least. The more you win the harder it becomes to climb up the ranks. you can also check out your last 25 games played and also watch other peoples matches to get some idea of the game!!

MOST IMPORTANT THING : ITS FREE!!! you can play against the dumb AI to grind gold and buy the cards. Also you get crystals when you level up. so if try a  bit you will be able tocollect cards for a cheap but competitive deck and then try your skills in tournaments and the more you play the more you win. So basically without investing a penny you can have a  good deck and collection of cards. but if you think you can invest a bit then you can buy crystals with which you can buy cards and packs and I guess with some what 20 dollars you will have enough cards to have champion level decks for 5 or 6 different heroes but yes your chance of winning still depends on how you understand the game not the cards.
Here are some other pics that you should see before judging...
The Use Friendly Deck Builder

They even sell physical cards and there are physical cards tournaments also
Some cool cards which are in my favourites...

So that's it. hope you will be able to decide whether to try Shadowera or not!!
